A macchiato is a coffee that is "marked". To do such a coffee, the order in which the ingredients are put in the cup are kind of reversed. The order is: syrup base or/and sugar, steamed milk, espresso shot(s), and drizzle.

Additional information
Ingredients
- Sugar (if you want, although the syrup bases are usually very sweet already)
- Syrup base (vanilla, hazelnut, etc.)
- Milk (0%, 2$, 3.25% or any other kind)
- Espresso coffee
- Coffee decoration (chocolate chips, or anything else, creativity has no bounds!)
- Drizzle (caramel, hazelnut, maple, chocolate, etc.)
Instructions
- Steam your milk. Try to have micro-foam (not large bubbles).
- Put the sugar in your cup.
- Pump the syrup base in your cup.
- Pour your steam milk in the cup. Let the foam to be at the top of the cup. Leave some space for your espresso shot(s).
- Pour your espresso shot(s) on top of the steam milk. Do it fast so that the shots go through the steam milk directly and leaves only a small hole in the foam.
- Decorate the foam with coffee decoration.
- Add drizzle on the top with the design of your choice.
Enjoy your coffee :)
Additional information
- Please note that you can customize the drink as much as you want. You can remove the sugar and the syrup if you think that it is too sweet, or add more pumps if you want it extra sweet. Same for the number of espresso shots.
